Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross. When He died on the cross, He took our sins with Him. When He died; our sin died with Him. When He rose from the dead 3 days later, our sin stayed dead.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
