CHAOS Week with Grace Baptist - JULY 26-30

July 26-30th - It is CHAOS week with Grace Baptist. We will be joining the youth group from Grace Baptist (Jim Shelllenberger's youth group) in a week of fun and fellowship. As you can see from the graphic above, we are bowling, laser tagging, having a massive Ramen Noodle and Water War, hitting a movie at the Palace and finally, a game night on Friday (not pictured). Some of the events cost money but Wednesday and Friday nights are free (sort of).

FRIDAY GAME NIGHT - Join us for a blast of a good time. We will play some Minute to Win it games along with XBOX 360 and Wii games. We will have the volleyball net set up and a basketball available for those of you that want to shoot some hoops. All we ask is that you bring Pop and snacks like cookies, chips, salsa, cheese dip, and stuff like that. You don't bring food....We don't eat nothin'! It will be a blast so don't miss the fun.

MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP

Have you ever been to church camp? If not...you don't know what you're missing. Camp is a great time to get closer to God without all the distractions at home and school and the mall and XBOX Live.... It sounds challenging because it is challenging. But camp is a blast and you should really think about going. The cost is $160 but we have some scholarships available if you need them. Don't let the money stop you from going to camp if you really want to go.Middle school camp is August 2-5. For forms and more info, check out the middle school camp site.

July 26-29 - We are heading to Wichita for a short term mission trip. We will be painting a small church in Wichita. We are staying at the church parsonage while we work and we will be doing some other cool stuff while we are there. You don't want to miss this. The cost will be about $40 which will cover the cost of food and fun.

Mike Ewoldsen - Powerlifter August 25

He has been here before and everyone loved him. Our goal is to get 100 people in the Sanctuary for this event. If we have 100 or more people that night, Pastor Paul will dye his goatee and eyebrows hot pink for 1 week and our NYI President, Ronnie Clites will let us shave his head!! YOu can do it. Invite your friends. By the way, points will double that night so everything you do for points will be worth twice as much on August 25th!!

Mike is a powerlifter with a message. He will share the gospel message with us and challenge us all to set goals and believe that we can reach them. Plus, Mike will put on a record breaking show with weightlifting. If you are a fan of strenght...you will want to be part of this. Grab your strongest friends and bring them...even they will be impressed with the strength and talent that God has given to Mike.

In July of 2011, thousands of Nazarene teens and youth pastors are heading to louiville, ky for a great time of worship and training. There will also be a short term mission trip during the week. The cost is high so start saving now. This is only open to high school seniors. For most people, this is a once in a lifetime event and you will treasure the experience forever.
