1. Pray Psalm 100 this is a praise psalm that has a global impact. It is a call for people to praise God. How would this impact OUR church?
2. St. Patricks Breastplate:
" Christ with me, Christ before me,
Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me.
Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise.
Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me
Christ in every eye that sees me
Christ in every ear that hears me.
Salvation is of the Lord.
Salvation is of the Christ.
May your salvation, Lord, be ever with us. "
3. Try singing your prayers. " O Lord, speak to us, O Lord speak to me, As we call, anser us, O Lord speak to us, O Lord speak to me. We are waiting to hear."
4. FOR PARENTS Each week choose one word to encourage your child.
When the children were little, I typed up this list and taped it to the back of my kitchen cabinet.
Say the word to them often to teach them the meaning of the word and to praise them for good behavior.
I often found myself running and opening the door to seek for just the right word when disciplining or praising the children. After they could read, they were running to the door to find a word for me.
