Can God Use YOU?

When is the last time you prayed for something and expected God to answer that prayer? When is the last time you were persecuted for your faith and saw God do something amazing because you stood up for your faith?

Is it because that isn't happening or is it because you pose no threat to Satan? If you are a Sunday christian and the rest of the time you are a worldy scoundrel then Satan has no reason to come after you....because....he already has you.

Stand up for Jesus and make Satan nervous. Pray for God to use you in a mighty way and make sure you are having your personal devotions with God. If you pray for God to use you and you are ready for Him to do it; He will show you amazing things in this life. This is still the same God of the Old Testament and He has lost no power whatsoever!!

Will you make yourself available for God?

WHAT IS ADRENALINE RUSH?

Thanks for asking. Adrenaline Rush is the student ministries of the Derby 1st Church of the Nazarene in Derby, KS. We exist to glorify Jesus Christ. Our mission is to "Go and Make Disciples for Jesus Christ as we learn to be disciples ourselves." Acts 4:31 talks about the disciples hanging out in a room, praying and praising God. When they were done, the Holy Spirit came down and filled them all and the walls of that place were SHAKEN! You can't get more of an Adrenaline Rush than that, eh?

Biker Sunday is back. This time it is Biker and Friend Sunday. We want you to invite bikers but we also want you to invite your friends. We had a great time last year and with your help, we can have a great time this year too. There will be a cookout following the morning service along with games and prizes. There will be a bike ride for the kids following the cookout and a RIDE for adults.
