Easter recently passed and thousands of churches across the country had services, just like they do every Sunday. The difference this week is the major focus on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and what that means for everyone.
Even though we really focus on the death and resurrection of Jesus during this time...we need to remember that every day of the year. Without Christ's sacrifice on the cross in our place; we would not have the hope of forgiveness and eternal life.
If you haven't been to church in a while, or you go to church all the time... make a special effort to remember what Christ did for you and me each day of the year.
Romans 10:9-11 says, "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.""
Thanks for asking. Adrenaline Rush is the student ministries of the Derby 1st Church of the Nazarene in Derby, KS. We exist to glorify Jesus Christ. Our mission is to "Go and Make Disciples for Jesus Christ as we learn to be disciples ourselves." Acts 4:31 talks about the disciples hanging out in a room, praying and praising God.
